Resuming one shot off the pace, the world No 1 had made a steady start to his second round at Harbour Town by opening with four consecutive pars, although needed a huge chunk of luck to continue that run at the par-three 14th.Day appeared to have misjudged the wind when his tee shot in to the 193-yard hole looked set to land well short of the green, only for his ball to take a fortunate bounce off a wooden sleeper and make its way on to the dancefloor.
