Fernando Alonso has been cleared to compete in the remainder of the Chinese GP weekend after passing further tests following Practice One. The Spaniard suffered broken ribs and a partially collapsed lung after his crash at the season-opening Australian GP, and was forced to sit out the race in Bahrain.On Thursday Alonso was cleared to drive in Practice One, but told he would require further tests following the session to confirm his fitness. After that medical examination, the FIA were satisfied that Alonso was fit to compete, but have stated that in case of any abnormal symptoms the driver has been informed he must stop his car immediately.
