it wasnt a shoulder charge, Antworten

NEWARK, N.J. -- It didnt take Taylor Hall long to become a fan favorite in New Jersey.Hall scored two power-play goals in a 4:11 span in the second period in his regular-season debut with the Devils and New Jersey posted its first win, a 2-1 decision over the road-weary and penalty-plagued Anaheim Ducks on Tuesday night. If you had gotten three or four it could have been better, Hall said with a big smile. It was a fun night, from the red carpet to the starting ovation, it was a great night. As a team we really wanted to get that first win, get that off our chest. Now we can play as a team. We played a game tonight that is repeatable, and thats the best part about it.Having Hall step up was big as New Jersey ended a five-game losing streak against Anaheim. It takes the pressure off him after the Devils made a big trade with Edmonton in the offseason to get him. It also allows the team to settle down after a 0-1-1 start in Florida last week.Obviously a big night for him (Hall), said goaltender Cory Schneider, who had 23 saves and forced the Ducks Chris Wagner to lose control of the puck on a second-period penalty shot. Thats great because when he is going, its good for us.Sami Vatanen scored on a power play for Anaheim, which is 0-3-1 in its five-game trip to start the season. John Gibson made 26 saves for Ducks, who played short-handed seven times. We didnt play a very disciplined game, Vatanen said. In the second period and the third, we took way too many penalties. We killed it off pretty well. We had our chances and just couldnt bury (them).Hall, the No. 1 overall draft pick in 2010, tied the game at 1-all, putting the rebound of a shot by Mike Cammalleri into an open net at 12:35. It came after Anaheim killed off the opening part of a two-man advantage only to see New Jersey score 5-on-4.Sometimes when you have wide open nets like that you can psyche yourself out, Hall said. I wanted to make sure it went in the back of the net. It was a really good feeling.Halls second goal came on a great deflection of a point shot by defenseman Damon Severson at 16:41. Gibson never had a chance.Wagner got his penalty shot near the end of the period but lost control of the puck after making a move on Schneider.I tried to be aggressive, Schneider said. Fortunately, he made one too many moves and it rolled off his stick. It was a bit of a lucky break.Anaheim got a late power play but could not convert.Gibson said the Ducks know its early, but they have to start earning some wins.We cant go out there and expect to win and expect it is going to change, he said. The league is too good. Every team is too good.Vatanen had given Anaheim the lead at 9:03 of the first period with a shot from the right circle. The Ducks never let the Devils clear the puck out of their zone after Kyle Palmieri was called for tripping at 7:15.New Jersey was 0 for 5 on the power play in its first two games in Florida against the Panthers and Lightning.Devils rookie defenseman Johann Auvitu lost an apparent game-tying goal early in the second period when Reid Boucher was whistled for a high stick against defenseman Kevin Bieksa seconds before the puck went in the net.Game notes Devils F Sergey Kalinin (illness) is practicing again. He was placed on IR before the season. ... Vatanens goal gave him 100 career points. ... The game opened with a short fight between the Devils Vernon Fiddler and the Ducks Ryan Kesler.UP NEXT:DUCKS: at Philadelphia on Thursday night before heading home.DEVILS: visit Boston Thursday night. Nike Vapormax Danmark . He was followed closely by David Clarkson, donning red, seconds later. Clarksons actions one night earlier, leaping off the bench in defence of Kessel during a pre-season game against the Buffalo Sabres, will cost him the first 10 games of the regular season. Vapormax Hvid Dame Danmark . DAmigo scored twice in regulation and added the shootout winner as the Toronto Marlies edged the San Antonio Rampage 5-4 in American Hockey League action. http://www.vapormaxdanmark.com/vapormax-herre-sko-danmark/vapormax-hvid-dk.html . MLS Commissioner Don Garber and Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos Gimenez also will attend the session, which was announced Monday. The league has discussed placing its next two expansion teams in Miami and Atlanta. Vapormax Dame Danmark .C. -- Kemba Walker and the Charlotte Bobcats got off to a fast start, and the Sacramento Kings were never quite able to catch up. Vapormax Herre Zalando . To the surprise of many, it isnt the Wolverines but their in-state rivals the Michigan State Spartans. Manly coach Trent Barrett has lashed out at a call made by an NRL touch judge that resulted in Parramatta nailing a 78th minute penalty to steal a 10-9 win on Friday night.Down 9-8 late in the match, the Eels turned the ball over as they searched for a game-winner but were given a late reprieve when Martin Taupau was penalised for an off-the-ball tackle.Michael Gordon coolly slotted the penalty to give his side a rugged 10-9 win and drive a potentially fatal dagger in Manlys final aspirations.Referee Matt Cecchin had initially ruled a knock-on against the Eels however overturned his decision on the advice of his sideline official. The touchie said late contact or shoulder charge, one of them. It was pretty disappointing for the call to get overturned and cost us the game, Trbojevic said after the match.Barrett, whose side spurned an opportunity to draw level with the 8th-placed Warriors on 22 points to now remain in 11th, was particularly irate after the match. You see a thousand of them every week. It wasnt high, it wasnt a shoulder charge, he said. The two referees saw it okay. To get a call from a touch judge thatll decide a game and possibly our hopes of making the semis, is hard to take.Youd hate to see a grand final decided like that.Daly Cherry-Evans field goal on the halftime buzzer appeared to be the difference when Taupau was pinged for an off-the-ball tackle on Bevan French, allowing Gordon to ice a win.On the same day coach Brad Arthur was handed a contract extension until the end of 2019, the Eels clawed their way to their 11th win of the season and avoided a three-game losing run.Manly led 7-6 at the break however there were no tries scored in the second half, with Gordon and Dylan Walker both trading penalty goals before Gordons match-winner close to fulltime..dddddddddddd.The win, played in front of just 8143 fans at Pirtek Stadium, was soured by an ankle injury to stand-in captain Beau Scott in the second half. The crowd was the lowest at Parramatta in over six years.Sparks between the long time rivals flew from kickoff, when 100-game celebrant Brad Takairangi forced a turnover on the first play with a jolting shot on Taupau.Scott and Darcy Lussick also exchanged off-the-ball pleasantries that resulted in an early scuffle, drawing the ire of the referees. But while the big men dominated the early proceedings, it was the smallest player on the field in rookie French that broke the game open with an individual effort in the 6th minute.Taking a Takairangi offload flat-footed, French showed off his blistering speed by grubbering ahead for himself around Cherry-Evans, before taking a crucial intercept minutes later. He also came close to pinching a second try in the 21st minute.Despite the Eels dominance, Sea Eagles rake Api Koroisau levelled scores when he burrowed over in the 37th minute, before Cherry-Evans nailed a one-pointer on the halftime siren.A proud Arthur praised his men for turning in yet another gritty performance. All our wins have been very gutsy. We havent played outstanding football but its been built off plenty of resilience and a good mindset with the defence and being aggressive, he said.We talked tonight about just trying to find a way to win. Doesnt matter how you win, we said we can come in after 80 minutes one point in front and thats how it worked out for us.Sea Eagles forward Josh Starling was put on report in the second half for a high shot on Tepai Moeroa that ended his night.
