ive. Im proud of him.One week after a stunning lo Antworten

On Aug. 9, ESPN reported that former NFL Denver Broncos and New York Jets quarterback Tim Tebow was set to hold a workout for Major League Baseball teams later this month, aiming to pursue a career in professional baseball. Few athletes have been able to transcend a career in one sport to compete in another, but Tebow wants to join the list long after his prime in professional football, specifically his days as a Florida Gator. As Tebow prepares to hopefully revitalize his career with a stint in baseball, we couldnt help but wonder: What if he switched to esports instead? How would he compare to some of the esports athletes who are past their prime? We take a look at five esports athletes who have had similar paths to Tebow: they have been on top of it all at one point, but their recent results have been less than stellar.Christopher Zuna BuechterLooking at the field of esports, theres one athlete who has successfully switched games, though arguably not as well as expected. Team Naventic flex player Christopher Zuna Buechter was at the peak of North American League of Legends on Vulcun years ago, before switching to Heroes of the Storm after leaving the League scene. His transition has been OK, but its clear that hes beyond his prime as an esports athlete, most recently winning third/fourth at the 2016 ESL North America Fall Regional Championship.Tebows fast hands could make him a good Heroes of the Storm player, a game which is often considered easier than the other multiplayer online battle arenas (MOBAs). And with a little bit of luck, he could be better than Zuna at the game.Chae Piglet Gwang-jinOnce a World Champion, Team Liquid Academy AD carry Chae Piglet Gwang-jin is not only beyond his prime, hes tired out, too. Piglets career peaked at a 2013 World Championship win on SK Telecom T1 K, the team led by superstar young-gun mid laner Lee Faker Sang-hyeok. Like Tebow, who took home two college football national hampionships in 2007 and 2009, Piglet won it all when it mattered most in 2013.But unlike Tebow, Piglet didnt win MVP, or in Tebows case, a Heisman Trophy. And most recently, Piglet expressed that he was burned out on League of Legends, moving to Team Liquid Academy in the Challenger Series from the organizations main squad, Team Liquid.Could Tebow dominate League of Legends, a game that is one of the most popular esports? Probably not, but given Piglets current state of play, its certainly possible that he could challenge the former Korean stars skill set.Adam friberg FribergAsk any long-term Counter-Strike fan what team they remember the most, and while some will say Fnatic, many take to the likes of their Swedish counterpart Ninjas in Pyjamas. At the helm of the team and most of its memorable moments in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is Adam friberg Friberg. But fribergs seen better days after his four years of play on the team.Tebow, a quarterback, could potentially excel at Counter-Strike: Global Offensive if he trained up. One of the most important traits of players is their muscle memory and how they control a guns spray, movement and accuracy. Put Tebows throwing arm to the test, and it could be a match made in heaven; Tebow could be the next Counter-Strike star.Henrik Froggen HansenThe former king of the European mid laners, Henrik Froggen Hansens last few seasons in League of Legends have ended in either seventh or relegation. Once a star on Counter Logic Gaming Europe, Evil Geniuses and Alliance, Froggens legacy and name still resonate with fans around the world, despite his skill dropping off heavily since his glory days.Froggen may just be the Tebow of the League of Legends scene. Once Tebow moved to the NFL, things fell off harshly, akin to Froggens move to North America at the end of last year. But like Tebow, Froggen has had his moments where he brings his team out of the mud. However, he has also had his bad moments. The real question, could Tebow play Anivia? And if the answer is yes, he could be the next star mid laner of Rick Foxs team Echo Fox.Mohamad m0E AssadThank god Mohamad m0E Assad finally stopped playing. A well-known Counter-Strike: Source and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player, streamer and now manager, m0Es best moments are certainly behind him.The Echo Fox Counter-Strike general manager matches Tebow in theatrics on his stream, although his polarizing persona is on the opposite end of the spectrum (Tebow is a loud and expressive man of faith, while m0E is a well-known rager). And, like replacing friberg, Tebow could probably play better than m0E did in his final days with Echo Fox as a player. Montez Sweat Jersey . But when it comes to determining if Raymond will find a place on the Leafs roster when training camp concludes in a week, well, that decision will ultimately fall to the head coach. Alex Smith Redskins Jersey . For the Wild it was their first win of the season and they now have a record of 1-1-2 while the Jets fall to 2-2. To which I would say two things: 1. Where there is smoke, there is or perhaps has been a little fire. Or, in other words, the two teams would appear to have at least spoken. And spoken is defined as one calling the other to inquire, no more, no less. Montez Sweat Redskins Jersey . Louis Blues. Shane Hnidy joins Brian Munz for the broadcast on TSN 1290 Radio at 7pm ct. Dexter Manley Womens Jersey . The Clippers were angry about blowing a big lead; the Kings didnt like being in that kind of hole and nearly digging themselves out only to lose. STILLWATER, Okla. -- Mason Rudolph connected on an 86-yard pass to Jhajuan Seales, then Rennie Childs scored on a 1-yard run -- his fourth rushing touchdown of the game -- with 1:28 remaining to lift Oklahoma State to a 45-38 victory over Pittsburgh on Saturday.Rudolph was 26 of 46 for a school-record 540 yards and two touchdowns, while James Washington pulled in nine receptions for 296 yards -- the most in the nation by anyone so far this season -- and two touchdowns. Childs finished with 101 yards on 10 carries.(Rudolph) played great, said Oklahoma State offensive coordinator Mike Yurcich. Always room to improve, but he needs to sit back and enjoy this one. He played tremendous, especially at the end, finished strong again, the game-winning drive. Im proud of him.One week after a stunning loss to Central Michigan on a final untimed play that officials later admitted should never have happened, Oklahoma State (2-1) found themselves in another nail-biter decided in the final moments. After starting its final possession on its own 8-yard-line with 1:21 to go, Pitt advanced to the OSU 45-yard-line before Nathan Petermans pass was intercepted by Ramon Richards with 15 seconds left.Rudolph had 372 yards passing and Washington 231 receiving in the first half alone, both OSU school records for one half. The Cowboys 467 yards of total offense in the opening half also set a school record.James Conner rushed for 111 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries for Pitt (2-1), while Peterman threw for 237 yards and a touchdown on 14-of-30 passing. They made one more play than we did, really, when itt comes down to it, at the end, said Panthers coach Pat Narduzzi.dddddddddddd. Regardless of what happened in the first half, or third quarter, it came down to the last few seconds. With the game tied 38-38 with 12:55 left in the fourth quarter, action was suspended due to lightning in the area. Play finally resumed following an almost 2-hour delay.Ill be real honest with you, the delay saved us, said OSU coach Mike Gundy. We got a lot of coaching out of it. When the delay happened, I was okay with it, because I felt like we needed it to make some corrections. I felt like this was a good thing for us.THE TAKEAWAYPittsburgh: Despite the loss, the Panthers displayed impressive resilience, falling behind 24-10 and 31-17 in the first half, but continuing to battle back, answering Oklahoma States penchant for big plays. They tied the game 31-31 early in the third quarter on Matt Galambos 2-yard fumble return, and then again at 38-38 several minutes later on Quadree Hendersons 50-yard touchdown run.Oklahoma State: The Cowboys showed no ill effects after their controversial defeat last week against Central Michigan. Any lingering questions were undoubtedly cleared up when the Cowboys first offensive play turned into a 91-yard touchdown pass from Rudolph to Washington.UP NEXTPittsburgh: The Panthers are on the road again as they open ACC play against North Carolina.Oklahoma State: OSU travels for its first away game of the season, visiting Big 12 rival Baylor.
